Last night, writer/director/producer Jill Soloway was awarded an Emmy because, let’s face it, someone has to win and trans is just so hot right now. The champion of third wave feminism strode to the stage in a stunning evening gown and took the occasion of her victory to issue a heartfelt plea for tolerance.

Just kidding! She was wearing clown casual and agitated for misandrist revolution.

For most of her acceptance speech she burbled on about changing the world by making “unlikeable Jewish people, queer folk, and trans folk” heroes and then concluded with the “instantly iconic” rallying cry:

Topple the patriarchy!

Finally, the answer to all the world’s problems. Or none of them. Either way, the sensitive sentiment from the sensitive artist is sure to be echoed, sans irony, by that fresh face of feminism, Barack Hussein Obama, right after he decides to run, unopposed, for a third term via executive order. And it’s so deliciously soundbitey.

Backstage, the champion of inclusion continued to revel in her award where she invoked Godwin’s Law to punctuate her next pearl of wisdom. Which was, naturally, about Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. Soloway hyperventilated:

[Trump is] the most dangerous monster to ever approach our lifetimes. He’s a complete dangerous monster and at any moment that I have to call out Trump for being an inheritor to Hitler, I will.

There are 1,001 legitimate things she could criticize Trump for and never even get past his hair. He is inept in more ways than Hillary Clinton is corrupt. Yet the woman who is paid to communicate ideas through story, managed to present herself as less intelligent and more unhinged than the target of her tirade.

But as a world-changing Jew living in modern Los Angeles, she knows from Hitler. And let her tell you, such an heir this man is.

What the most dangerous monster ever to approach our lifetimes is supposed to have inherited from Hitler is unclear. Dachshunds? His love of German automobiles? His propensity to slaughter millions?

He’s otherizing people, he calls women pigs if they don’t look like beauty pageant contestants, he blames Muslims and Mexicans for our problems. He makes fun of disabled people. This is Otherizing with a capital ‘O’…. He needs to be called out.

That’s the best a writer could come up with? And this is the only possible explanation for Trump’s behavior? Maybe he’s just a narcissistic douchebag.
